Hey all just a quick one.

Have fished some canals down the coast a couple of times latly.. With a few OK fish caught all on powerbaits, squidgies, or atomics..

Also got some little GT's and bigeye trevally all around 20cm..

Fishing 3lb sure does get the bite, but landing them is the tough bit... ive lost some good fish latly.. getting used to the stretch in flurocarbon straight through compared to braid has been a challenge to.. dropped some good bream and also dropped 55 - 65cm flatty.. And after a good 5min fight i lost a whopper flatty, came so close to landing him a few times, but so little margin for error on such a big fish on 3lb fluro.. Looked around 70cm no joke, but he went for one final run and cut the leader.. Also got bitten off by a decant tailor.. And one of the coolest things was having a decant 45ishcm red devil sprint out from under a pontoon and swipe at my scorpion 35, would of been fun on 3lb.... tight lines..

My first squire on plastics and first legal squire, 36cm from under a mored boat/pontoon. Awsome fight on 3lb flurocarbon straight through. Went 36cm..

yeh had some fun sessions glad to get a bream on the 30 fork mark that was a big flathead. Great fun on 3lb
