Rockpools around Brisbane

Hey,

Want to take some of my little cousins out to check out some rock pools as I use to do this back in Sydney, but I only know some down at the coast. Was wondering if anyone here knows of any good rockpools with good quality life around Brisbane? Ive heard of shorncliffe rockpools anyone been there?

Be careful, rock pools up here can have some nasties in them like blue ring octopus and stonefish!

there is a few pools at the bottom of the cliff at shorncliff next to the large jetty good fun for the kids not the best pools ive seen though up at caloundra is some nice ones

point cartwright..moolooaba has a few nice ones..but as feral said watch out for blue ringed occys:huh:

Well aware of the nasties present in rockpools. Have seen many blue ringed octopuses in Wollongong! Might have a look at Shorncliff during summer.

caloundra has the best imo, but i think there is a few around scarborough/redcliffe.
