  1. That's terrible, hope the cars have been found and/or the victims caught. Just sent you a PM.
  2. Sounds like a fun day out despite the sharks Ted - quality time with the boys too .
  3. Quality box of fish there Neil, nice work .
  4. Rumour has it northsider's get alot more than 1cm of 'shrinkage' .......... .
  5. Come on Brian, don't be like that. If @Kat is willing to thaw it out, drive to the same spot and replicate the scene, I say well done to her ........... . On a serious note, well done Kat, another nice whiting .
  6. Cheers fellas - yep, need to extend shed to fit current boat (we moved in June last year). I contacted the mob that installed but they don’t install for the shed supplier (Dondex) anymore and couldn’t/wouldn’t do the job. Said I may struggle to get a ‘company’ interested in a fiddly job like this. I had one guy (referral by my mechanic) earlier this year come take a look and looked like a goer but never received the quote. Eventually got hold of him and he got out of the shed game. So back to the drawing board … How far to extend is a tricky trade off as our master bedroom is at the front of the house so too far and it blocks/is in front of our window. Plus reduces space to reverse cars out of our garage, plus less space for our boys to play basketball, etc. Did a bit more searching (web and FB) and have sent quote requests to a few more companies so hopefully someone can do it .
  7. Looks a good product - just looked them up and the box with 24 of them would work well. Only issue could be that gang hook rigs don’t fit in them?
  8. I have a 6 x 6m shed that is 4.10m high on one side and 3.05m on the other, with a double roller door. Wanting to extend the length of the shed by 1.5m and want to re-use the materials on it where possible. Located in Wynnum. Anyone know of someone who may be able to do this sort of thing?
  9. I think us Southsiders sometimes forget that not everyone is able to catch large fish and as such, need to keep much smaller fish to scratch a feed ......... .
  10. Congrats on a great land based threadie and some nice other fish there too, nailing it . Great job on tagging some too .
  11. Great couple of sessions there Steve, well done mate. Did you keep the winter whiting for bait for your snapper session?
  12. As far as I can tell, I'm two minutes ahead of you ....... .
  13. Hope you mend quickly Ray. I'll politely decline putting up all my reports of all the amazing fish I've been catching (and will in the near future) ....... .
  14. Food is always more enjoyable when eaten with a companion Neil. As luck would have it I'm available tomorrow and would happily settle for one Qld lollypop and one crab sandwich ....... .
