queensland Quick flick for bream.

G'day all,

Though I would share a couple of photos with you from a quick session this morning to a new spot near my place. The target was bream, and I only took hb's down for the session.

I got to there on an incoming tide, this morning at about 1015 (It is at the end of Taylor street, Bulimba. Over the next hour or so, I managed two bream, the biggest going total length of 25cm or there abouts, the second one was slightly smaller.

Nice morning out, and another spot within a minute or two of my place that produces fish. It was good to try a new spot, and also target a species that I don't normally target....and then actually managing to catch them lol!!!

Hmmmmm.......I can't seem to upload the map Anyway, it is at the end of Taylor Street in Bulimba. There is a carpark at the end of the road, and access to the river past the yellow gate. I got to the waterway by following the bank of the river.

I agree with Angus on that one, there'd have to be a cod in there somewhere.

Good to be able to catch good quality fish so close to home
