queensland coochin jack 10.1.09

myself and my brother jimmybob hit up coochin creek in searck of some jacks...we didnt get on to the water till lunch time and we were met with a huge high tide which was making things hard to get livies...but we did manage enough to start hitting this snag that we havent fished in 3 years...i rigged up a live gar with 2 hooks and it was in the water for about 2 minutes and WHAM!, but the hooks pulled...so i flicked the gar out again and in another 2 minutes i was on!...typical jack hit and run and went burko boatside but jimmybob slipped the net under it!..a few yahoos and "hell yeahs" and i boated my first jack of the season!..i thnk we got there just in the nick of time thou as it cooled down and everything went quiet...but im sure we will be back to see if there are any bigger ones;) [img size=320]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/DSC00724.jpg
