broken rod tip :(

Hey guys, went fishing last night and i realised when i got my rods out of the car that my little pflueger trion bream rod broke at the tip :angry:

its missing the last runner and about an inch of rod. just wondering if this will make any real difference and if its worth getting repaired?

it will change the action a bit mate but not to much .pfluger are normaly pretty good for replacements for broken rods give that a try first then if no joy put a new tip ring on .

ahhh i had the very same thing happen to my raider 2pc rod during the trip from airlie beach to whitsunday island in stupid rough weather. hadn't even had a chance to use the rod.

BUT, 1 ciggarette lighter and some glue later its an awesome rod to use. heated up the broken tip and pulled the inch of graphite out and glued the eye back on. works great and is solid

well if you get a new one and waste a perfectly fine yet slightly disabled rod .. give it to me.. i have no problems with fixing, using and enjoying it
