aerator ???

iv got one of those 'live bait air infusors' and was wondering if anybody on here has had experience with them or a similar product as to what intervals you need it to run for the bait to stay alive eg. 10mins every half hour or do you have to have it runnning the whole time. thanks for any advice much appreciated
