bream on fly

newport is producing small to legal bream on breadfly striker and crumb dropper. gar and trevs on the same rig. i'll be there again today. see yu.

hi wallyfly but would like to know newport is i would love to take my two daughters down to catch some gar one afternoon after school for a bit of fun.

if im on my own redcliffe isn't aproblem as i fish the pine river from time to time.

suggest you might try nth pine dam on fly or for your kids use floated worms on size 12 hooks with a bobby cork float about 300mm above the hook. burley up with

bread. the littlies will have great fun catching them.

newport can be patchy at times and is a long way to travel.

could try the lake area at collages crossing for gar.have heard there is gar there but not tried it yet.

same deal small hook 300 mm float and doe or worm and burly with some bread.

if i do get around to trying there will let u know how we go.

Yes there is plenty of Gar at Colleges crossing and it is good fun and there good bait
