As a normal thurday night went to bcf ipswich and talked to tom and he said there's a abt event at bribie this weekend so i can't see any of the pro's getting to involved so he's to a top day and look at this weather

Looking forward to this event. I recieved all my kit in the mail and interested to see what the target species is! I imagine there will be some talk on here when the species is released!

I will make a thread for photo submissions so AFO guys can see what others have caught etc.

What chance it being a fresh water fish? Perhaps I'll put the batteries on charge just in case it is bass and I need to hit a dam somewhere, pity BIG W is such a hike and that NPD isn't fishing too well as I reckon that's where the big bass would come from.

Dunno, pickings might be slim around Brisbane, tides are not great (low tide middle of the day following a bigish high a couple of hours before dawn), high wind forecast, I reckon it will be a bit of a struggle for shore based anglers. Those that do the walking might do all right if the target is flatties.

With the wind forecast whatever the target is had better live in either Somerset or the South Pine, thats the only places I'll be going fishing tomorrow!
