Would kedron brook floodway be a good user friendly spot up at the mouth for females to go landbased?

My better half would like to go fishing tommorrow and i think that that would be a decent spot,for us to go to just seeking confirmation.

Should be, there is some sort of new fishing platform right down the Nudgee end, and a bit of a shady park there. Looks pretty popular though. Otherwise access is pretty good along where the boat ramp is, I know there are walking paths and bikeways further up that offer good access, but down towards the bottom they swap to the landward side of the road, I dont know where that happens.

You can always nip around the corner to Nudgee beach which has some pretty good BBQ areas there now to cook a bit of lunch after you have had a bit of a fish. Might even be good for a fish if the tides are favourable.

yeah sweet I just didnt want the fishing to be ruined by her saying the mud/ reeds/ are annoying oor it smells conversation. Cheers mate

In that case I'd be a bit leary of the transfer station area, about half way down the straight, it can pong at times.

Don't know the area but she would love a charter in Hinze Dam - it is so chick friendly - best looking dam around this area- very green and quiet.

My Fiance's younger sister got her first taste of fishing at Peel island Saturday night and wants more. This i would imagine would be ideal.

Travis: Yeah mate, kedron broos has loads of land based access. And i have caugth good flatties there. There is the platform, but if thats crowded there are plenty of places you can sit on nice comfy grass and cast straight into the water.
