queensland somerset and wivenhoe dam

hey everyone, my parents are thinking to go to Somerset and Wivenhoe tomorrow,I'm going to be fishing landbase, is there a chance of me getting a bass all another specie, and what Sp or HB would i use. I was thinking of a wriggler 65mm or a popper if any water action. Please reply if you got some tips for me.

Matt, popper only if you going to be there late or early. Try spinnerbaits from the bank if you have any.

Dont waste your time with a popper at either dam very rare to catch bass on surface at these 2 dams try anything else but.
