Its 3 months till we head to nth qld for 12 days fishing in bowen ,a sleepy little town just north of the witsundays. 4 boats so far are going and we're all staying in a caravan park right across the road from the ramp. Starting to get things ready for reef and mackerel action and it never disapoints. The last 25 yrs i've been going up there so plenty of local knoledge helps us out. If anyone would like to take a boat up i can put them on the fish just let me know here

in august the weather is pretty good even 11foot tinnies get out on the mackerel patch most days but i know plenty of spots out of the wind to
