1973 40hp Evinrude Color

hay just got my hands on an old 1973 evinrude 40 Got it running pumps water n the like good little unit just want to know what the oem colors where trying to fing a picture for one but to no avail can anyone help?

Thanks shortie Looks like old school colors maybe I'll do a custom job lol this one is like a blue grey color with a faded crusty light blue top thanks anyway cheers

Just remember that will be 40hp at the head and not the prop. Unlike modern motors that are rated at the prop.

Yea man all over thast part what would the hp be at the prop? any Idea The plan was to gett it runnig which I have done then give it a coat of jam then flogg it off as I don't have a tint for it and no need for a motor but It was a swap for some Alloy rocker covers that i had for a holden v8 so Good trade as far as I was concered

I would be guessing but i reckon 30hp at the prop. Soem of the other guys with more experience would have more of an idea though.
