queensland Water very slow clearing NPD

Had a quite day for a change out at the dam never got to double figures, managed some on s/baits early, some on trolled lures and one on bait. I managed more on Tues morning on the troll. The water is still very dirty and looks like its not going to clear for about a week.

2nd bass is in quite nick. Wallies yella is a ripper. Very dark too, looks like he dropped it in mud! Maybe the dirty water influences colour?

We get the yellas in colours from white to black with some bright yellas also

the dam looks like glass in your pic too quite nice.

with every1 getting bass and yellow i know i'm fishing in the wrong places .

think i will have to get a permit and drive a bit further for a fish.

They certainly are fattening up Dino :ohmy: . Looks like a very pleasant day on the water even if the fish didn't really wanna play.

It was a great day to be on the water, I spent the morning trying to get fish for my deckie but it was hard work.

Werewolf, No I didn't drop it in the mud; too much water to reach the bottom. Mind you, you could just about plow the water in some areas. The yella in the pic was the darkest I've caught for a long time; probably been sulking on the bottom until the rains came. Dino took my pic from his boat looking into the sun hence the colour. Go catch a fish, use 20+ dark purple LARGE bibbed hard bodies. Tight lines. :cheer:
