gday gazza i'm going in a mates boat off rainbow beach about 70 km out and its his red emporor spot. i've never been that far out in a boat but we used to drift over this area on a ship i worked on yrs ago

2 trips now for the weekend

1; staurday morning 7am crossing the bar and heading for boat rock off stradie with my son to get him on to a snapper

2; sunday lunch heading to rainbow beach in mates boat still for overnighter 70km out for those big ones
