queensland Borumba dam 5/1 to 8/1

Dad and I will be hitting Borumba dam on tuesday next week till friday. I am going with a plan this trip, poppers untill the shade is gone then spinner baits and lipless cranks. And hopefully pass on the tips I got from Tomca to my old boy and get him onto his first Toga. I am yet to catch a yellow belly up there so that will be at the top of the list BUT I would really love a 51cm +++++ Toga. Come say g'day if your up that way, I'm in the 4.3 centre console (but not for long).

Go a sammy just on dark my wife lost a monster Toga a couple of months ago we landed some nice Bass and some nice tongas on spinner baits and my ripple cranks that I make. Hope your trip is a success.

For surface I'll be using a sammy 65 bubble bee and the black with green side and I will try a cultiva that I've had for a while and never used its clear/brown. But I am really keen for a catch of any sort on a spinner (never had one).

Good luck and hammer the twin bay on sunset. i will be working all week, then have the Noosa ABT on the weekend, so no sweetwater fishing for me

However, I am a bit concerned with the amount of rain they've had up there, I hope it hasn't shut down the fish.

Doesn't rain up there, I am reliably informed by the Mary valley Nimby's that there is never any reliable water flow down to Traveston!

As long as the dam doesn't go over you should be right. If it has had a a good flow in work the edges of the dirty water (The water at the back of the dam will be dirty, the water at the front clean)
