Best tackle for Bream and Flathead

Hey guys just wondering what is your opinion on which is the best to use for bream and flathead. I'm fairly new at this. I had some success using philchards, im just considering using lures or soft plastics. Just wondering whats the best to use.

hey try using any 2 or 3 inch berkley soft plastics on the sand banks for both species or if you have the money the sx40's and 48's are also great for bream around any structure
