Pummicestone is a light aerated volcanic rock, it floats, is light gray in colour, and has lots of little holes in it (like swiss cheese) it is used to scratch off excess skin on heels and bunions!

Find heaps of it in pummicestone passage, which is where it got its name. Also find it at the high tide mark on surf beaches etc.

Spot on Feral.

Yeah a Porous (i just wanted to use that word) volcanic rock that floats.

on most North Coast beaches it can be found in abundance. I have actually used it several times in the noosa river as a float for catching mullet. Thats where the idea came from :)
