Darwin!

Hey Guys,

Moving up to Darwin in two weeks for work so was hoping if any AFO members have done some fishing up there could point me in the right direction and some go to spots. Will be fishing out of a 4.1 poly. Any help would be appreciated!

hey mate lived in Darwin for 3+ years, there are heaps of spots, there are some local fishing clubs close to town which are good for info, there are normal spots around like Casuarina Beach, Gun Point etc, but lots of clubs and fishing shops around with heaps of info. best bet is to try the one in Cav st in the city- and go from there!

I am heading up that way next month for a three month work trip. I am getting pretty keen for a fish too!

Try the Daily River where fresh meets salt, also further down stream where the barra classic is held also try the Mary river at shady camp barrage. no doubt the locals will have plenty of advice

i'm heading up there week after next for a conference. heading out on a half day charter while i'm there :-)
