queensland bull sharks

gday all.

i was gonna head for a landbased late arvo/night fish down towards colleges crossing, was chasing a bit of info on the bullies. Are there many round up there atm? whats the best way to fish for them?

i was gonna use my offshore gear and just float baits out on wire traces. Any info is good info. Cheers,

I would give Colleges a miss. Drought has affected it badly. However just down the Road is Kookaburra Park in Karana Downs.

Its getting a bit late in the season for loads of bullies. However id wager there will still be a few around there.

Your rig choices sound just fine. Try to get live bait if possible. Even live bream (please make sure they are legal size) work a treat.

hey dude you d be better of going there with your bream gear you pretty much missed out on the shark season although there is afew die hards getting around there have been good catches of bream at both kooka park and down river at the junction

Polyphonic was telling me today that a mate of his got a couple of good sharks in the passage over the weekend, 4 and 6 foot. So they are still around.

Your rig should work ok, might need a flat to keep it away from the crabs though.
