queensland Wello Point

HI Guys,

I finish teaching at Ormiston at 230 tomorrow and was thinking of a flick afterwards down at Wello point. Seen as I have never fished here has anyone got any areas they would recommend? I was looking at the point where the lighthouse is the other day and it looked alright.

if you get there before low tide.walk out to the island and then walk past that and you will see a becon on your left.head towards there and work your right

i was there on saturday morning before sun rise and had a ball

got a stack of bream,squire,whiting and a couple of longtoms

all on 6lb braid

there is plenty of flat head floating around that area and had a couple chase the hook all the way towards me

had a couple of big hits but the smart buggers went straight for the sharp stuff

If the weather is average you can always head down to the tinny creek as an alternative as well.
