hey guys im looking at buying a new reel in the 2500 - 3000 size from daiwa, im looking at the sol or the luvias but cant make up my mind any help would be great

a certate 2500R is pretty hard to beat, the new 2010 model looks impressive too.

i looked at the 2010 certate the look awesome but the have got major flex in there rotors so it put me off them

yea im leaning 2wards the sol 2500 or maybe even 3000, i plan to use it as a medium sp combo but it has the ball to tackle decent fish if needed

can't beat the shimano twin power. sturdy, finesse drag and is stylish too

hmmm i have a larger daiwa exceler 4000 thats like 5-6 years old and has been beaten abused since it started off fishing for bream and flathead with live baits to fishing for bull sharks now and is still going as good and smooth as it started.

yea they r good reels, i have the 2500 exceller da but it just doesnt have enough drag, it has about 4kgs where the sol has 7-8kgs or drag for a 2500 size
