queensland reefie/mack attack

headed out on saturday to southern bay....fished at a secret reef and managed to pul in three 35cm+ parrot,two 40cm squire,4 very good size bream and 1 red throat emperor...

then went mackie hunting..managed to land 10+mackeral but only kept 2...must have misss landing another 10 from pulled hooks and lost tackle(sharp teeth)..all arount 70-90cm

went out again on tues...hit the little reef again...got another 4 very large bream,5 parrot and...,landed 10+mack again and kept 5 this time...all the same size..again missed well over 10 macks from lost slugs etc..

the bay is fishign really well atm...

Sounds like you've found a sweet spot. Certainly an interesting mix of fish from the one spot.

yeha weather was p[erfect..glass all day...ill be heading out again on sunday..i do have pics but i can never seem to lead them up on this site...its too hard

go into the search forum type in resize photo you will see feral has created a easy way to put your photos on the site
