queensland 4 anglers, 9 days on moreton

Was a good few days....

Thanks Benno, Kreel and Tacklebox for a good trip...

My first trip to Moreton...awesome place...

There are omissions of course. These being;

1. I won the wrestling comp.

2. I did drink too much one night.

3. Inner Circle Rum is very nice. Good tip Benno....which is kinda, sorta the cause of number 2 above...

4. Tigers WERE spotted on the island. Kreel was always looking the wrong way...

5. Long Tom's will be renamed as something starting with C... :laugh:

6. I saw wildlife I hope to never ever see again...

7. I did catch about 30 Hairtail on the yak, no lies Kreel!!!

8. Please, please God, let me go back there again soon...

9. I beat Shane Warne hands down on txt volume over the 5 days I was there. :blush:

10. It was "entertaining" to lose my sunnies... :S

I think you mean whiptails but not bad for a first try mate...

and i think inner circle (the green one) is the cause of numbers 1 and 2 mate...

hey mate, just read this...

the "bream" stick is actually yet to land a bream. it has landed far too many long toms, many flathead, a couple of snapper, a flounder and a moses perch but no bream! that is fine with me actually... i may or may not have used it to fish bait sometimes as well... :blush: i must admit this was the first time i really enjoyed fishing with platics. i guess it is partly due to the place and scenery and the fact that they actually landed some good fish! it was really relaxing walking up and down the beach, flicking plastics and i guess not really caring if i caught something or not. i found the flatties didn't care what sort of retrieve you used which suited me fine, it was different every time and they all seemed to work! and i will happily come out in the green machine and show you how it's done mate. can you get over to moreton in it???
