Had a hot little bite early this morning at a certain bay side spot. Caught 8 little squire, a couple of decant bream, pike, a small bigeye on the surface and a few Flathead the biggest taking the position of my new PB. She went 70cm and was taken on a Threadybuster Jnr and 20lb leader, about 5 of the pinkies were also and surprisingly a nice bream. The rest were on Gulp! 2inch shrimps and the little Trevally was on a Tiemco Red Pepper Micro..

Heres a couple of mobile Pic's of my PB Flathead.. I'm fully aware that its not the best thing for the fish's belly slime to lay it on concrete, but I didn't have a Brag Mat on me, so I just wet the concrete and got the fish back in the water as soon as possible.

impressive big muma lizard mate and those lil threadybusters are flatty guns i had a session a few weeks back with 4 flattys in 4 casts using the same lure not in the same calbre as that big girl though. Nice steez too mate.

Thanks bud, I was laughing at how many little fish were smacking it, caught 20cm pinkies, a bream, pike etc then bam a solid fish . Was quite satisfying after loosing 3 - 4 around that size over the years due to 3lb leaders...
