A piece of twisted wire which took all the fiddly work out of tying knots.

I thought it was brilliant.

Here is the link.

Has anyone used or seen these before?

Amazing how something so simple seems to work so well.

I would like to hear everyone's thoughts.

Now before we get into the debate of clips etc I know it would not be good for a lot of applications etc.

ie no one would generally like to attach their leader in this way etc etc

I know it would Knot be for every one.

Ha like the way I used Knot instead of not, oh my god I'm a funny guy!

Any way we are talking about the idea not really the application!

I suppose its just a new style of clip, but the ingenious part is how easy it is to tie on.

For commercial fishing doing heaps of drop lines etc it would be extremely easy on a rocking boat to tie off.

Apparently it keeps 100% of the strain capability of the line which is amazing considering how quick it is to tie.

Also would be a benefit for those who struggle to see the fiddly lines too.

Now they just need one which the 'cork screw' pulls out of the knot all together, leaving two connected lines!

Hmmm let me think.....
