Hinze Dam access points

G'day all

been reading the archives and I noticed Brian and Rayke refer to another boat ramp up the western end.

Yesterday we took a drive down the road to murwillimbah but all the roads in were blocked by no access signs.

I dont have a boat but would like to try some of these backwater area's as it seems this is where most Toga are caught. Can anyone recommend a good spot we might be able to park the car and walk to?

Mate i have roughly marked with red crosses the western arm. I think this other ramp is up that way somewhere.

There is a past post on here where Ray and Feral explained it in pretty good detail, Basically u keep following the Nerang Murwillumbah rd for another ten minutes and it takes you up to where the nerang runs into the dam. It is a a little dirt track that is very easy to miss if u don't know its there. pretty good bank access though. If u reach the Nerang river (Ithink thats the name) bridge you have gone to far
