Dassa, mate it cost us a bit because we didn't have any camping gear. Other than that though we paid $225 for camping permits for 2 weeks for three of us. Kids under 5 don't pay and $1096 for the barge bearing in mind that was for the family inc rubish removal, fuel handling, fuel, water and parking for vehicle and boat trailer.

Because we went with such a large group we a lot of costs were split. So just get on the island we paid around $1300 for 5 of us.

If you went by yourself this would be the breakdown.

Fares: $275/person

Rubbish fee: $50

water: $140

fuel: $40

parking for vehicles: $70/vehicle

parking for trailers: $42/trailer

boat on deck: $30

boat on trailer on deck: $250

hey mate i have been to north west once and going up over christmas this year, it should be go, hopefully no storms this year. it rain or stormed for the 13 night we were on the island but it is just the best up there.
