queensland RDO down the Seaway

Hey Everyone,

Had the day off yesterday. Decided to head down the seaway to chase the elusive red monster. This time had no luck, but did manage a new PB tarpon and don't they go hard!!! Was pretty stoked to land him after the battle that ensured. Also scored 4 jewies on placcies at the turn of the tide, a nice flattie off the bank on a little vibe that played up deluxe. Mate scored a real nice trevor as well on a plastic, casting at a bust up. He also managed to score the biggest jewie of the day. Thought I would include the pic.

Maybe next time out for a entry in FOTM... looks like it will be hard to chase down at the moment..

Good selection of fish caught there using different techniques as for the Jack looking at a few reports here there all in the Coomera.

51MPL, water clarity is back to normal IMO. Fishing bottom of the tide and was really pretty good.. So much better than the sunny coast is recovering...
