queensland gold coast mackeral!

my dad and i decided to take the boat at this morning as we havent taken it out for awhile. went out seaway and out abit to try for some mackeral. got to ramp about 5am. got out and the fishing was pretty quiet for the first two hrs when one of the rod decided to go off. with abit of the fight we landed our target species. 78cm spotty. after that it was dead for us. left at around 10.

haha i knew someone would say something! lol but its the only photo and it looked the good when it was taken from the phone. haha relised my eyes werent open when i put it on the computer!

Nice fish mate, I was fishing off the seaway rock wall yesterday morning. Saw a heap of boats going out. Could also see heaps of fishing busting up offshore. Did you guys bump into any of those schools? Thought they were either some sort of Tuna or Mackeral but wasnt sure..
