Been out and about catching and tagging escapees from NPD. I have been up and down creeks and rivers all round the pine river catchment area. I have found bass in places I would never have thought they would be. Anyway here is some pics from the last 2 days.

This one first tagged in 2005 at 245mm now 320mm. only grew 75mm in 6 years. Started in the brisbane river and I got it in the pine river.

Gee it must have had a hard life with such a slow growth rate.

Reckon all the escapees would be pretty lean now with all the structure and weed beds washed away.

here is 2 bass the first is 750g the second is 910g both bass are 42cm, in winter at NPD a 42cm bass usualy goes 1.5kg

wow..so the bass was tagged in the brissy river, and 6 years on, its in the pine??!! great journey for the little fella!
