Yellow Belly Season?

Angus

Recommended Posts

Hey guys.

I have noticed lately a large number of Yellow Belly pics being posted from North Pine Dam.

Whats the season for them?

It just seemed that it was bass bass bass up there but now (and im liking it) there seems to be a healthy number of yellas thrown in for good measure.

Just curious.

It varies a bit but in stocked impoundments its mainly summer but we sometimes got hot bites in north pine during winter. Inland waterways they will come on the chew any time after rain.

They are still biting well at Glen Lyon at the moment even though they have had a couple of frosts.

Ok well i guess what im going to pray for is:

Rain solid for the rest of the week.

Stop raining friday night.

Sunny and nice Saturday Sunday.

To much to ask???

Steve was saying the Hinze bass also go nuts after a decent down pour.
