It was very tough down in the hinterland over the weekend, it was that tough I had to catch the same fish Sunday that I caught Saturday. Well it came from the same snag, was about the same size, was of the same dark colour and took the same beetlspin except for diff colour grub. Water was that cold that at one stage I was in water up to my knees and after a few minutes I had to get out as it was very painful,also on sunday morning went fishing early and both my index fingers split open. Lost what would of been a new PB for there as I tried to pole it up a steep bank it dropped off. Anyway I'll leave them in peace till September. Here is the 2 bass I got they look like the same fish to me.

it's a shame about the closed season, I guess here is hoping npd starts firing consistantly
