Round 3 of the Basstasstic Tournament Series last weekend (14-15th May) was frosty but rewarding. Cania Dam has had a partial roll over, with dirty water reaching from the dam wall through to the other side of the Quarry. Only a few fish have been lost and there are still big schools of bass in the Timber.

Jim Griffiths bagged out in all sessions with a total of 1955 (securing top of rankings), closely followed by Rod Schull (1825) and Kyle Gleich (1724). Hayden Raynor was fourth and caught Biggest Bass – 40cm (1645). Many fish were caught in the gills (not the mouth) - territorial strikes. Anglers caught fish on spinnerbaits, chubbies and blades in gold, white, purple and black.
