queensland Karumba trip

Just got back from our trip up to the cape & here's my brief report with a few photos (still waiting for the other camera to return home).

First day started off well with me landing my 1st ever Queenie (85cm) & a couple of bluenose salmon.

Unfortunately the next day the weather turned against us & the water temp dropped about 7 or 8 degrees which didn't help us at all. We spent a few days fishing with little success & then a couple chasing crocs up the river.

The last day before we left the weather came good & the fish started biting again. We pulled in plenty of Grunter Bream (the best measuring 52cm) & few Jewies.
