This has been my most recent project, it started out as an old oxygen cylinder. It will be finished just in time for the cold weather :P .

Looks good....

Saw a similar idea out west when I was there this year. Its a 44 gallon drum on its side, cut horizontal in half to half way point and then vertically down to meet the horizontal cut.

Weld a flat plate into the cut out for a hot plate and a small flue on top of the round section at the rear.

Stuck on a steel pipe in the ground and make a great BBQ/fire

Looks cool. A few of the 4x4 fellas on another forum are doing a similiar thing with old 9kg gas bottles.

Yeah I have seen the lpg bottle ones there's a guy who sells them (Ozpig). this one will just heat my patio. 5mm steel will put out a lot of heat but isn't very portable.
