The fish for this month (August 2011) is Australian Salmon. This is the first time this species has featured as a FOTM species but based on recent reports and captures we feel for good reason!

Size: 65cm

Caption: Caught on a Ecogear VX-40 blade, cast at a school of feeding Salmon and steadily retrieved just below the surface. Released after photos.
