Traffic nightmare gold coast this weekend

Hey guys n gals, just thought id give ya the heads up... Indy 600 on this weekend, and already the last 3 days, traffic has been all the bad words that is not in the dictionary.

It took me 55 mins to get from Australia Fair shopping centre to Pacific fair shopping centre when it should only take 10mins. Dont think goldy will be the best place to fish this week, or otherwise going through it.

Mate even on Monday when they were setting up it was chaos. We went down there for lunch not realising they would be setting up. Fail

Traffic not so much of a concern however can anyone tell me wether the ramp behind wave break is effected by road closures etc, planning on launching at 0300 tomorrow.
