I was just wondering if there are any fish in this hole. Is it worth the drive?

Dam. Would have loved a positive report. A mate bought a property on the water there and has been asking me to come up.

sorry bit of a late reply,

I didnt have much/any luck, all cleaning tables where bone dry and not a scale in site. our camping neighbour had half of his pots stolen (not emptied) during daylight hours. I was a little bothered about the rule of removing the boats at night and the time boats where allowed on the water (boats to be removed by a cetain time (i think it was 7 or 8). And the fact that the police drove through the site at least 4 times each day (should i be feeling safe or worried). I guess i just prefer other dams for camping and fishing. Big thumbs up to Boondoomba.

Probably 8 years since I have been there.

Are the water restriction hours imposed by the van park manager or sunwater?

All SEQ water dams have 6am to 6pm hours of operation .

When we were there we used to camp on waters edge and have the boat in the water in front of tent.

I think that the regular patrols would help keep any potential rowdy element in check.

A lot of water between fish out there at the moment. Small to medium bass and yellas taken trolling and bait fishing up in the timber.
