Anyone Have a coleman event shade?

I'm going camping for the weekend and borrowed a event shade so I don't have to cart over my huge tarp and poles etc. Seemed a great idea until I realized it's probably not really waterproof if it rains. Has anyone had one up in the rain? It looks like it would help in a shower but probably not anything heavy.

I think it will be like most of those shade type structures in that you will get some moisture in through the stitch lines but nothing major. If you are putting smaller dome tents underneathh it then the contents of those will stay dry in most circumstances.

I use a 3x3m expanding shade and sometimes get a few drips hanging around underneath it ;-)

Had one up in the back yard all summer. It doesn't leak at all. I use one every time I camp. Take some small tarps as walls (use some zip ties).

Awesome I've seen other campers using them and they look the goods.....I've got three of those sunwalls for it so sounds like it will be a cool gadget for the weekend. Thanks for the replies
