anyone work for a tyre/ rim joint

i know of a few ppl that have had the council replace their rims after hitting potholes, cause it is up to them to fix the pothole, might be worth investigating :)

yeah already on that , we have a job number and stuff . looking like we will be chasing them for re-imbursment as we need the rim sorted out this week not in 8 weeks time ;)

can get it repaired for around 120 - 150 but i wouldn't trust it after the hit it took . would rather fork out the extra 50 and get a new one . It has bent the lip out 2cm and flattened around 5-10cm of the rim if that makes sense . It was a cutout piece of road on the shoulder of a skinny ass street without gutters , truck coming the other way forced her onto the shoulder and hit about a 2 inch high square edge :pinch:

skip all tyre shops and rim places and go straight to the place that fixes the rims. they are called Depulu Wheels at Darra.

(but call this number and they will arrange repair)
