Stanage bay who wants to come

Hi guys, i have one possibly 2 spots available to tag along to stanage bay, leaving 2nd may returning 7th may, and or any advice for fishing the area.

there will be 2-3 boats depends on numbers.

troll chromies for wolf herring

then troll the wolf herring for big spaniards

watch out for pressure waves between the islands on big tides

if you are camping up there check the trees for leafcutter ants nests before you set up or light a fire

we want to fish offshore weather pending, chasing reefies, some spanish would be nice, and would love to get up the creeks aswell.

whats the best way to rig wolf herring ??

i use a reef bean sinker split down one side and clamped on the shank of a straight 6/0 hook with a wire going to a 2/0 stinger trebble

put the the hook up from under the jaw out between the eyes and the stinger in the tail again from underneath.

whole rig on 4 feet of wire

the sinker keeps its head down and running straight
