Boat Hire options around the SE Corner.

Went to Dolhes rocks and rented a little 6hp tinny for the day. Great day. Hooked up 2 decent lizards at a hole near deepwater bend, but both cut the line when we got em close to the boat(was on 4lb gear and SPs)

Just wonder what other non-boat licence hire places there are ?

Will probably get a boat licence just so it opens up more boat hire options.

Mate a few guys have rented boats from the guy at bribie island. Just turn left once you get over the bridge and he is right there.

I have rented boats from O Boat hire in the noosa river a few times. They are cool. I like the Pontoon boats as you have heaps of room and a BBQ. Awesome for a full day fishing with some mates.

I dont think to many rental joints have boats that require licences, cuts down on their potential clientèle.

I don't know if they are still there, but you could go to Bears Boat Hire in the pine river. They were alright, slow and small, but alright.

Check out anaconda they hire yaks etc cheap as chips

no power boats but still a good option

the only place i know of that requires a licence is down the gold coast and they only hire dick extention type boats not fishing boats, they charge a small fortune due to the cost of insurance

Yeah they usually target the 5 or 6hp range, rego is cheap and provides some insurance for liabilty.
