queensland jacobs well/ the pin

Hey guys,

I'm heading out in the tinny this sat probably up towards jacobs well or the pin. just wondering if anyone knows of any inshore reefs getting around the place that are not way up north or way down south. obviously looking to catch reef species, maybe squire, or parrot or somehting along those lines. I'm not after secret spots or anything like that, but just a bit of a guide as to where to fish.

heard you can get squire near the powerlines on the russel island side there at times

I haven't herd of any inshore reefs around jacobs well or the pin.

When I fish there, I usually head to the pin bar and fish all over the area. There is a nice rock outcrop near the pin which yields good tailor. There are also a bunch of sand banks around there where I have got plenty of flatties and flounders.

Pay attention around the channel near the rock outcrop. There is a big sandbar in the middle of the channel, have seen plenty of people stuck there.
