Yesterday I went for a bit of an explore to see what was further a feild and to find some new Bass spots. After searching the forus and google maps i chose a likey looking spot and spent 3.5hrs driving looking at other spots along the way. When i arrived the area didn't look to good with a thick blanket of soem surface weed.

Never the less I was here now and launching was a little tricky. After heading down stream for a bit the weed started to clear and then the water looked very fishy.

Within the first dozen casts I landed a nice Yelow Belly about 45cm on a suspending bibed lure with some sticky lead i add to make it make neutrally bouyant.

Then I used a samll spinner bait in natural green colors to land my first ever MARY River Cod.

A quite period followed till anothe yellw belly cam along a bit smalled and the photo was not good because of the sun. Anyway as the after noon moved on thought i would try some video on the Go Pro camera. Out came the the surface lures.

I caught 4 Bass up to 37cm and missed another 4 hits. No photos just the vids.

whne i work out how to edit the things I'll post some.

All in all a top day at a new spot a little research and great afternoon.
