queensland EOI - decky spot for the river Friday night

Hi all,

Heading out to the river on Friday after work, pretty cruisy sesh planned, will just soak a couple of livies hoping for a thready or jew (or a shark) and hopefully hit my snapper spot around the top of the tide. Space for 1 decky, don't worry about fuel money, just BYO food / drinks. Have gear if you don't. Ability to throw a castnet or drive the boat while I do is highly desirable. Launching from Port of Bris about 5pm, plan on getting back about then...

Boat is a 5.3m fibreglass half cab.

Had invited Ellicat but have not received a response in 24hrs so perhaps he misses out this time... :whistle: that's alright though, I usually catch more when he stays home...

If no one else has jumped on this I'd be keen, can throw a cast net also or drive if needed.

G'day mate,

I'd be interested in going out for the day. I can throw a castnet but been a long time since I drove a boat. I have not been boating at night. I'm unfamiliar with Brisbane River but still keen to have a fish. Let me know your thoughts on this. Chewbacoo
