queensland Fishing Bunya Riverside area

I live just a short stroll from the South Pine around the Bunya Riverside area. Has anyone fished there with success? It's a pretty little place with plenty of turtles sunning themselves and what looks like some deeper holes and fishy snags. With Bass season opening it may be a convenient spot to try when I have a small amount of time to spare.

Have seen the odd mullet there that's about it

Yeah plenty of bass there. Got a few on the surface before last season closed. It's very popular though so not usually a spot that's first on the list to go to. Anywhere on the south pine in the fresh you should come across a few bass. Will be worth a go though for sure. Good luck

I take my dog walking there a fair bit during the week when it's not busy so will give throwing a lure around a try after tomorrow.
