queensland A few recent bass sessions

Well, the water is starting to cool off and the season is coming towards an end but my last few bass sessions have been good ones! When I go bass fishing nowadays it is usually for 1 or 2 hours before or after work, and my full days are spent out in the salt.

The last three very brief sessions have resulted in 5-7 wild creek bass caught on the surface. Great fun! And as always the surrounding environment is spectacular.

I have been very lazy with photos lately but here's a few from last session using plastics on the surface.

Many of the fish were 40cm+ which is pretty good for the areas I fish. The average size is about 30cm, so it's good to see a few larger bass out and about.

I have also been compiling some video footage and have got plenty of surface action on the camera already, so hopefully I can make a compilation video when I have the time.

Noicee one. I'm looking forward to targeting these again over the next few weeks I'd be keen to see that footage too
