R.I.P My dear friend

It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart That I write this post.

I lost a dear and valued friend in the early hours of this morning.

We traveled many miles together, sought out and defeated countless enemys. We had good times and bad.

My friend was defeated in battle by a lowly 35cm Bream:ohmy: . He was dominated and snapped in half before I could even give him a hand in the fight.:dry:

Even though he was mortaly wounded he still dragged the Bream to the boat before he went to a Better place. The evil Bream was sent on it's way(after a mug shot was taken on the brag mat) to fight and destroy other enemys, He was nobile in his victory and shoit in the boat before swimming away:blink:

So please rise and have a minutes silence for my good mate \"EXCALIBUR\".

Excalibur is dead, may he live forever.

Out of respect for my good mate, I wont replace him till I go to Tackle World this morning.:blush:

A better Rod I have never had. Till we meet again.....

Now I'm going to go share a Jack Daniels with him before I place him in the wheelie bin:side:

Anybody else lost a good rod, reel, lure etc etc in battle?

Please share, We can cry on each others shoulders.

It is a difficult time the loss of a trusted rod. I keep my losses close for sentimental reasons (and to brag)and the bin is still a little way off.
