Hi Guys!

I got the morning off today so at 3am I dashed off for a few hours of skinny water bassin. Hit the river at 4am and it was a comfy 14 degrees. I was topwater fishing and there was nothing until the sun started to rise at 5am.

I was daydreaming and the lure was suddenly hit from the bottom. My rod yanked down hard and I could feel the weight of a very good fish. It struggled all the way in and when I shone the torch on it I almost screamed with joy. I knew this fat bass beat my earlier 51cm bass. A quick photo and it swam strongly away hopefully to breed. That was the highlight of the session. I got 3 more hits for 2 nice bass (38 and 40cm).

I adjourned to the Fernvale Bakery Cafe to reward myself with a $19.95 double T-bone brekky!
